ST. LOUIS - TradeHarbor, Inc. announced today the
appointment of Barry L. Babcock, the retired chairman of Charter
Communications, Inc., to its board of directors.
Mr. Babcock's career has been devoted to the building of
technology companies from the ground up. He began his career in the cable
industry in the mid 1970s, co-founded Cencom Cable Associates in 1982, and
co-founded Charter Communications in 1993. He is a passionate businessman,
committed to creating lasting value for employees and shareholders, and is an
important civic leader in St. Louis.
TradeHarbor initially approached Mr. Babcock from an
advisory standpoint and according to Mr. Babcock "the timing was just
right. TradeHarbor has the right mix: an experienced management team, a unique
product with tremendous potential, a tight and do-able business plan, all based
on a realistic and reasonable time frame."

Mr. Babcock is currently on the board of directors of

boards of the National Cable Television Association (NCTA), the Cable
Telecommunications Association (CATA), the Cable Advertising Bureau, C-SPAN,
and Cable in the Classroom. He is a member of the Cable Entrepreneurs Club and
is a frequent speaker on topics relation to the cable industry.
Mr. Babcock also is active in many civic endeavors in the
St. Louis metropolitan area. He serves on the executive boards of the Regional
Business Council, the Missouri Historical Society, and Citizens for Home Rule.
He also is on the board of the Regional Commerce and Growth Association.
