Heirendt, TradeHarbor President and CEO: “The Consortium is working with a select group of industry leaders to implement Voice Signature verification for telephone and Internet credit card transactions. The goal is to establish a broad-based consortium that supports the development of a single, neutral, third-party registry that allows consumers to enroll their Voice Signatures once so that partners can access the registry to verify the identities of telephone callers and web visitors. The Voice Signature Service^SM Consortium has been created to work towards increasing consumer safety, convenience, and fraud protection.
