Bob has held senior executive positions with multiple global businesses. He has also served on the boards of both private and public companies. As the Global Managing Partner – Corporate Development for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Bob oversaw all alliance and acquisition-based growth strategies throughout the world. As EVP - Corporate Development and Operations for BearingPoint, Bob had similar responsibilities for transactions and alliances. In addition, he shared responsibility for worldwide business operations focused on P&L improvement, risk management, financial compliance, acquisition integration/rationalization and business expansion. Earlier in his career, Bob was partner in PwC’s tax practice specializing in M&A and partnership taxation. He served on the Executive Committee of PwC’s tax business, the Firm’s Management Committee and as a member of PwC’s Chairman’s Office. Bob frequently consults with investment banks and private equity firms on specialized acquisition opportunities, and on operational and administrative improvement of targets or portfolio companies. A CPA, Bob earned his B.S.B.A. – Accounting & Finance (Summa Cum Laude) from The Ohio State University in 1980.
Barry Babcock is a founder and retired Chairman of Charter Communications, following its acquisition by Paul Allen for $4.6 billion in February of 1999. Charter, a Fortune 500 company, is the fourth largest provider of broadband services in the country. Mr. Babcock is currently on the board of directors of US Bank, St. Louis and in the past has served on the boards and executive boards of the National Cable Television Association (NCTA), the Cable Telecommunications Association (CATA), the Cable Advertising Bureau, C-SPAN, and Cable in the Classroom. He is a member of the Cable Entrepreneurs Club. Mr. Babcock has also been active in many civic endeavors in the St. Louis metropolitan area. He was one of the founders of the Regional Business Council, and has served on the boards and executive committees of the St. Louis Zoo, the Missouri Historical Society, and Citizens for Home Rule. He recently served as Chairman of the Board of Mary Institute and St. Louis Country Day School, a private independent school in St. Louis. Mr. Babcock joined the TradeHarbor Board of Directors in 2001, and served as Chairman of the Board between 2005 and early 2010.
Paul Heirendt is a cofounder of TradeHarbor with 30 years of experience in healthcare and technology business management, business development and Internet business definition. He is an experienced executive manager with an established reputation in the acquisition, formation, and introduction of new businesses with Medifor, Inc., Facts and Comparisons, Visual Press, Mosby, and J.B. Lippincott Company. Mr. Heirendt also serves on the Advisory Board of eMedicine.com, and G.W. Medical Publishing, and on the Board of Directors of the Midwest Gateway Chapter of HIMSS (Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society.)
Prior to joining Milk Street Ventures, a secondary direct venture capital firm in which she is a Partner, Jo Anne was a Principal at Nokia Innovent, a seed-stage investing team within the Nokia strategy organization. In this role, Ms. Miller was responsible for management of the portfolio and the Nokia business relationships. Prior to Nokia, Jo Anne was the President and CEO of Gluon Networks, a start-up providing next-generation converged voice and data switching and management systems for local telephone service providers. Jo Anne has more than 29 years of telecommunications and computer industry experience, including senior executive, engineering management, and research roles at JetCell, an indoor wireless/VoIP company (acquired by Cisco Systems), AirNet Communications, a wireless infrastructure company, Tellabs, and AT&T Bell Laboratories. Ms. Miller has a BS in Mathematics from the University of Michigan, an MS in Computer Science from the University of Colorado and an MBA from the University of Chicago. Jo Anne is also an angel investor with SandHill Angels and leads the Golden Seeds- San Francisco Angel Investor Forum. She serves on the boards of Synergy,Inc., Inteliinet Technologies, Astia and MentorNet.
