Mr. Heirendt has been involved in the online community since the early 1980's, he hosted a BBS for MIDI users from 1983 until 1986, became an active member of the WELL (Whole Earth 'Lectronic Link) the first "virtual community" in 1986, and developed and published one of the first consumer CD-ROMs that included online access to updated content.
Mr. Heirendt was involved in the formation of two of the most successful online services for Physicians, eMedicine.com (acquired by Web MD) an advertising sponsored information service, and MD Consult (mdconsult.com) the leading subscription online service for physicians and other health professionals used by 95% of U.S. Medical Schools. Mr Heirendt successfully managed the transition of the world's most trusted drug information database Drug Facts and Comparisons (drugfacts.com) from a print subscription service to an electronic (CD-ROM & Internet) subscription service. At Medifor (acquired by Allscripts) the team created one of the earliest implementations of web-based electronic medical records.
Mr. Heirendt has served on the Advisory Board of eMedicine.com, and G.W. Medical Publishing, and on the Board of Directors of the Midwest Gateway Chapter of HIMSS (Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society.)
John Hanpeter a senior management professional and registered professional engineer with 23 years of large-scale operations leadership in nationally recognized organizations during a period of industry-wide change. Ernesto has more than 20 years experience in the financial services industry with demonstrated success. He has been a leader in developing eLearning and other programs on cost-reduction and cross-selling for call centers and employees at some of the largest banks and corporations in Mexico and South America. These call center improvement programs have succeeded in increasing the number of routine transactions handled by the contact center and improved productivity while increasing sales as much as 250%, and helping more than 10,000 bankers to improve their sales results by an average of 30% in the first 12 months. He has been an international speaker on process improvement, skills and education in the financial services industry. Mr. Bergeron has an MBA with an emphasis in International Finance from New York University.
Stephen Veit has more than twenty years managing highly skilled software engineers, and thirteen years software engineering experience in telecommunications and defense. His strengths are leadership, project management, system architecture, and broadband networking. He developed software requirements, plans, and schedules at Southwestern Bell Technology Resources and Fujitsu Nexion for the Signaling Software of NEXEN 8000 Integrated Services ATM Switch. At McDonnel Aircraft Company, he also managed the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory for research and development of software for aircraft simulation and displays, including distribution of processing and networking with heterogeneous systems, artificial intelligence, image processing, real-time simulation and computer graphics. Mr. Veit is the Inventor/Author of three U.S. Patents: Distributed control of service category request mapping, Network element delay allocation for efficient use of network resources, and Multipoint to multipoint echo processing in a network switch. Stephen was granted a Top Secret Information security clearance by the Department of Defense.
Sean Carley has extensive experience as a Senior Developer, Webmaster, and System Administrator. Sean is a senior software engineer with deep experience in leading-edge Web technologies and Object Oriented design in projects ranging from Open Source projects to Health Insurance applications to Network Security software and services. Sean is a frequent contributor to the Open Source community through project participation and project administration. He served in the US Navy as a Cryptologic Technician and as an Arabic Linguist. Sean maintained a Top Secret / Special Compartmented Information security clearance and was awarded a Navy Commendation Medal and a Joint Services Commendation Medal for his work in support of SEAL Team 8.
